Introducing Glucagon-like Peptides (GLP-1) a Medication Assisted Weight Loss Breakthrough!
Perfect for those individuals who have struggled with traditional weight loss methods and are looking for an effective alternative.
Helps you feel full faster, longer
GLP-1s (Glucagon-like Peptide-1) delay the rate at which the stomach empties, which leaves you feeling full for longer than you would with natural GLP-1 levels.
Increases Insulin Production
GLP-1 helps your pancreas make more insulin when your blood sugar is high, which helps lower your blood sugar levels effectively.
Reduces Glucagon Release
It reduces glucagon production, preventing spikes in blood sugar and keeping levels more stable.
Enhancing Satiety
It helps you feel fuller for longer, which can reduce overall food intake and assist in managing blood sugar levels.

We are a telemedicine medical clinic with caring providers (doctors, nurses and physician assistants) to help you with treatment.
Our website will guide you to booking your first appointment with our providers and you'll have a video call with one of our providers.
When you get a script we'll send that script to the pharmacy of your choice. You can then pick up your meds or have the pharmacy mail them to you, we are not a pharmacy.

I want to talk to someone first before pulling out my credit card
We don't charge your card until AFTER your visit with the Provider. If you decide to move forward and receive medication, only then do we charge your card.
It’s $99 for your medical visit, Your card is charged AFTER your visit, when your prescription is sent to your pharmacy. Please note that Semaglutide medication is billed separately and not covered in the medical visit cost. Medication cost will depend on your treatment and personal insurance coverage.
Our partners will work directly with your insurance provider to help determine coverage for your semaglutide medication, (which is paid for separately from the visit). Prescriptions Today does not accept insurance for the visit, which is cash pay only.
You can purchase an at-home blood collection kit through Prescriptions Today for $75. Metabolic testing is required to participate in the program. It allows your provider to understand your metabolism to create a treatment plan that’s appropriate for you. Your provider will look at the following: Hemoglobin, TSH, LDL Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, Total Cholesterol, Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Creatinine, and Triglycerides.
If for some reason your insurance will not cover the cost of your medication, you’ll have the option to either pay for the medication out of pocket (typically $900/month, depending on the medication) or cancel your treatment. Given the cost of initial diagnostics, ongoing provider support, and insurance assistance, we are unable to offer refunds for previously incurred monthly fees.
After you complete your online visit, a Prescriptions Today-affiliated healthcare provider will review your answers and determine whether treatment may be right for you. If appropriate, we’ll ask you to complete a metabolic test so we can see how your body’s working right now. Next, you’ll go over the results of your test with your healthcare provider and discuss a personalized treatment plan.
What are the side effects of Semaglutide?

A medical weight loss program takes a scientific approach to weight loss and helps you shed pounds under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Medical weight loss programs also often include prescription medications such as Ozempic (prescribed off-label for weight loss) or Wegovy to ensure long-term success. These new weight loss injections are an integral component in losing and keeping off weight when they’re combined with a healthy diet and exercise.A comprehensive medical weight loss program typically starts with a healthcare professional ordering certain blood tests and asking about your medical history and weight loss goals. After that, a healthcare professional prescribes weight loss medication, if medically appropriate, and monitors your progress in the months to come. All of this can be done through Ro’s platform, without visiting a doctor’s office. Our program combines GLP-1 medication with 1:1 personal coaching and 12 months of curriculum and support—all to help you lose weight and keep it off.
You can get a prescription for weight loss injections through Ro, if appropriate for you. All of the weight loss injections you can get through Ro belong to a revolutionary class of medications called GLP-1s. These drugs are an exciting new approach to weight loss and an integral part of an effective medical weight loss program.GLP-1 drugs mimic the natural hormone GLP-1, which your body uses to regulate blood sugar and appetite. GLP-1s talk directly to the part of your brain in charge of feeling full and satisfied, and they also slow down how quickly food leaves your stomach. As your digestion slows, you may feel full longer and therefore eat less, which can lead to weight loss.
How fast can you lose weight through medical weight loss?
Medical weight loss programs are highly effective and you can start losing weight within a few months, especially if your healthcare provider prescribes weight loss medication and you implement diet and exercise changes. Take a look at Wegovy, an FDA-approved GLP-1 weight loss injection, and one of the drugs you can get through Ro: In a clinical trial, people who combined Wegovy with a healthy diet and exercise lost an average of over 4% of their body weight after just eight weeks. Those who took the highest dose of Wegovy (2.4 mg per week) lost an average of 10% of their body weight in the first 20 weeks of treatment—and 15% of their body weight within 68 weeks. Other GLP-1 drugs, such as Zepbound and Ozempic, are very effective for weight loss, as well.Your Ro-affiliated provider will work with you to help get the best results for you and your personal goals.
Ro can help you lose weight by pairing highly effective weight-loss medications with healthy lifestyle changes for long-lasting and sustainable weight loss. After you complete a health consult and metabolic lab test, Ro-affiliated healthcare providers can prescribe medications like Wegovy, Ozempic, compounded semaglutide, or Zepbound, as appropriate. They'll be available for ongoing support and assistance as you start your medication. If you're prescribed a branded GLP-1 medication, our concierge connects with your insurance company to help get the cost of medication covered. If coverage is denied, we'll help you understand your options, including purchasing medication with cash. If you are prescribed compounded semaglutide, you'll pay cash for your medication and avoid the insurance hassle.
You can get a prescription for several different GLP-1 drugs through Ro, if medically appropriate. GLP-1 medications are revolutionary drugs that work by mimicking your body’s natural hormones, helping you feel fuller faster, and longer. Some GLP-1s, like Wegovy (semaglutide) and Zepbound (tirzepatide), are specifically FDA-approved for weight loss. Others, like Ozempic (semaglutide) injection, are approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes but may be prescribed off-label for weight loss. Ro-affiliated healthcare professionals have the discretion to prescribe a medication off-label if they believe it is appropriate for a particular patient.

Telemedicine is seeing your doctor without having to go to the clinic. You just use your phone or computer to video chat with them. It's super convenient, especially for quick check-ups or when you can't leave home
It's pretty straightforward. You set up an appointment online, then use a video call to talk to your doctor. You'll need a good internet connection and a device with a camera and mic. It's like FaceTiming with a doctor!"
Yeah, it's safe. We take privacy seriously. We encrypt our chats and follow the same privacy laws that doctors' offices do. So, your health info stays private.
Telemedicine is great for stuff like managing ongoing health issues and treatments, mental health talks, or dealing with things like colds or rashes. But it's not for emergencies or anything that needs a hands-on exam.
The doctor can actually send prescriptions straight to the pharmacy after your chat. It works for refills too. Just like a normal visit, but through the screen.
Yes, many insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid, offer reimbursement options for telehealth services, such as ours.
At The Prescriptions Today Treatment Center, we currently do not process insurance claims directly. This means that while you pay for our services upfront, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance provider for consultations with our physicians via telehealth.
Our pricing is designed to be cost-effective, offering you a safe and reliable alternative to street drugs at a fraction of the cost. This approach not only saves you money but also provides peace of mind, eliminating the risks associated with unknown substances found in street drugs.
